In Progress

  • Resumed Technitium DNS testing
    • Need to spin up another instance, create a cluster, and look into options for an HA IP or VIP
  • Eval Debian 13, including automatic/hands-free install options
    • Working to establish an auto-install process
  • Deploy Alma 10
  • Look into Semaphore and Xen Orchestra

Priority Items

  • Evaluate possible alternative to NextCloud
  • Evaluate Fedora Desktop as a possible replacement for Ubuntu Desktop

  • Explore viability of converting between Windows and Mint Cinnamon
  • Explore VSCodium as a (cross-platform) replacement for Notepad++
  • Explore possibility of standing up Windows 11 in a Proxmox VM
  • Explore viability of hosting a local Ubuntu and/or Debian mirror
  • Deploy Nautobot
  • Kick the tires on Ubuntu 26.04 LTS (probably not going to happen unless Debian proves to be unworkable)

  • Work to get service notifications that are currently posting to Discord to post to Nextcloud Talk ntfy
  • Evaluate Immich - implemented
  • Upgrade cache drives in Unraid server
  • Deployed Prometheus Node Exporter across all VMs for statistics gathering (wasn't even on the to-do list!)
  • Deploy Gitea (Self-Hosted GIT)
  • Explore possibility of converting from Portainer to Dockhand for container management - decided to stick with Portainer
  • Explore a genuine, bonafide backup solution (vs. rsync/tar/etc). First up: UrBackup, Kopia, and Zerobyte.
    • Winner – Zerobyte
  • Replaced Nautilus with Nemo File Manager
  • Deployed LinkDing
  • Upgrade to Proxmox 9.x
  • OpenShift Local
