Install prereqs

sudo apt update
sudo apt install -y python3-full python3-pip pipx sshpass

As the user who will run Ansible, do the following:

Ensure the pipx path exists

pipx ensurepath

Install Ansible

pipx install --include-deps ansible==13.6.0

• Support for 8.x ends on 08/31/2026

• Direction TBD; leaning towards Debian, especially if the above Ansible testing works out
